Qur'anic Programs for Children Ages 5-110
Course Details
Taha Learning’s Mirath Qur’an Club offers two age-appropriate Qur’anic programs for children ages 5–10, designed to help students build a strong and lasting relationship with the Holy Qur’an.
Through structured instruction, guided recitation, memorization, continued review, and age-appropriate understanding, students will strengthen their pronunciation, fluency, memorization, retention, and confidence with the Qur’an.
The program runs from October 10, 2026 through April 24, 2027, with students attending two instructional sessions each week for approximately 52 instructional sessions throughout the program year.
Level 1 Foundational Program — Ages 5–7
The Level 1 Foundational Program is designed for younger students who are beginning to establish their Qur’anic foundation.
Students will develop proper pronunciation, stronger recitation fluency, memorization skills, long-term retention, and an age-appropriate understanding of the Qur’anic passages they study.
The curriculum will include Qisār al-Suwar (shorter surahs) and selected Qur’anic verses appropriate for students at the foundational level.
Weekly Schedule
Saturdays: 10:00–10:50 a.m.
Wednesdays: 5:00–5:50 p.m.
Level 2 Program — Ages 8–10
The Level 2 Program is designed for students who are ready for a more advanced Qur’anic curriculum.
Students will continue strengthening pronunciation, fluency, memorization, retention, understanding, and independence in Qur’anic recitation.
The curriculum will include longer and more advanced selections from Juz’ ‘Amma, along with selected Qur’anic verses appropriate for the students’ level.
Weekly Schedule
Saturdays: 11:00–11:50 a.m.
Wednesdays: 6:00–6:50 p.m.
Tuition & Payment Schedule
The total tuition for the 2026–2027 Mirath Qur’an Club is $350 per student.
Tuition will be divided into two payments of $175:
- First payment: $175 due at registration
- Second payment: $175 invoiced in January 2027
Families are only required to pay $175 at the time of registration. A separate invoice for the remaining $175 balance will be sent to the parent/guardian in January.
By registering, families acknowledge the full $350 program tuition and agree to complete the second payment when the January invoice is received.
Placement
Initial registration will generally follow the student’s age:
Ages 5–7 → Level 1
Ages 8–10 → Level 2
However, final placement will be based on both age and demonstrated Qur’anic readiness.
The general dividing line between the groups is ages seven and eight. A younger student who demonstrates a strong foundation in pronunciation, recitation, memorization, and retention may be placed in Level 2 when appropriate, insha’Allah.
Likewise, instructors may recommend a different level when they determine that another placement would better support the student’s growth.
Advancement
Over approximately 52 instructional sessions, students will work toward memorizing, retaining, and mastering their assigned surahs and selected Qur’anic verses.

Mastery • Readiness • Retention • Recitation Ability
The goal of Mirath Qur’an Club is not simply to complete surahs, but to help children establish the skills, discipline, confidence, and love necessary to maintain a lifelong relationship with the Holy Qur’an.
