Weekly Schedule
In-Person Class
Every Saturday from 12:00–1:00 PM at Taha Foundation.
Online Class — Microsoft Teams
The online class will be held either Wednesday or Thursday from 6:00–7:00 PM.
The final online class day will be assigned and communicated to families before the program begins.
Students are expected to attend both the weekly in-person class and their assigned online Microsoft Teams class.
Course Description
Mirath Qur’an Club is the first year of a structured three-year Qur’an program designed for middle school girls in Grades 6–8.
The program focuses on strengthening each student’s Qur’anic foundation through guided Arabic instruction, consistent practice, and weekly follow-up.
Students will attend one in-person class and one online Microsoft Teams class each week, allowing for continued instruction, practice, and reinforcement throughout the program.
Students will be placed according to their existing Qur’anic and Arabic reading abilities rather than school grade, helping ensure that instruction is appropriate for each student’s current level.
Year One Curriculum
During Year One, students will study:
Surah Al-Ghashiyah through the end of Juzʾ ʿAmma, along with selected verses from the Holy Qur’an.

The program is designed to help students develop greater confidence, consistency, and fluency in their Qur’anic reading while building a strong foundation for continued growth in the following years of the Mirath program.
Student Assessment
All students must complete a placement assessment to determine their current Qur’anic and Arabic reading level and appropriate placement within the program.
Students who register after the initial assessment date will receive further instructions regarding their assessment.
Registration does not guarantee final acceptance or placement. Final placement will be determined based on the student’s assessment results, readiness, and available capacity.
Prerequisite
Students should be able to read Arabic at approximately a third-grade reading level.
Payment Schedule
The total program fee is $450 per student.
- First payment: $225 due upon registration
- Second payment: $225 due by the end of December
Special Discount
Students currently enrolled at Great Revelations Academy or registered with Al-Mustapha Scouts are eligible for a $50 discount, reducing the total program fee from $450 to $400.
Important Notes
- Enrollment is limited to 30 students.
- Students must attend both the weekly in-person class and their assigned online Microsoft Teams class.
- The in-person class will take place every Saturday from 12:00–1:00 PM.
- The online class will take place on either Wednesday or Thursday from 6:00–7:00 PM.
- Final online class assignments will be communicated before the program begins.
- Final acceptance will be determined following the required student assessment.
- Lessons will be conducted in Arabic.
- Microsoft Teams access information will be provided to enrolled families.
- Registration closes Thursday, September 24, 2026.
Space is limited. Register by September 24 to begin the assessment and placement process for the 2026–2027 Mirath Qur’an Club.
